Panel Discussion – “Women as Catalysts of Change in the Climate Crisis” Women traditionally hold the role of primary caregivers in families and communities and as such are more vulnerable to the effects of climate change. And being on the front line of the climate-change crisis, they are also more suitable to be the agents of change. Research shows that when women are decision-makers, their communities do a better job at managing resources and women’s participation improves the efficiency of climate change programs. Women leaders don’t just promote people-centered policies, but their decisions are more planet centered.
Point of discussion: How can we empower women to become leaders in the fight against climate change?

Round table Discussion: Changing the game - Increasing women's participation in sport
Sports has traditionally been male-dominated and even today women’s participation and governance in sports is much lower compared to men. Gender inequalities are prominent across sports, from representation at decision making levels to participation in sports including coaching. Women also face a general lack of safe and appropriate sports facilities, physical constraints, and lack of time due to childcare duties.
Point of discussion: How can we promote women’s leadership and representation in governance, improve investment in women’s sports, promote equal opportunities and participation and bias-free representation in media?
